i don't have too many arts and crafty things going on right now. there is a slight lack of motivation lately. i was just on pinterest for the first time in a while and thought maybe i should blog. a bit ago i finished working on a pouf pillow i undertook sometime last year.

i've kind of acquired some extra space in my basement and made a little crafting station, to do painting and sewing and whatever else. i got to display some lamps and a dresser i repainted. i also found some liner for the dresser too.

for my birthday i got a fisheye lens for my phone camera. i've been very excited to use it! here's some images!

also sunday was my birthday. i got to see most of my family and a couple friends. hayley also made me the best cake with the help of creative director sydney...

last tuesday i took a crochet class at michael's cuz i decided it was about time i learned. i understand the basic stitches but not so sure how to put everything together and follow patterns precisely...if anyone has any pointers let me know! i did manage to make a hat but it's supposed to have a brim and i'm working on that part still...

this is the pattern i used and how the hat is supposed to look.

i also started making a scarf from another pattern...but messed that up as well...hoping it turns out alright by the time i finish...

over the weekend my friend, andy, helped renovate my closet. i had decided that my closet made no sense, the opening was about 2 feet wide and that's about all i could access, and there's plenty more space in there...so the opening was expanded to 5 feet. i started painting the inside yellow..the trim will be white.

i started student teaching in the 1st grade last wednesday. it has only been 3 school days so far but they have been enjoyable. i am frightened to think of what i actually have to accomplish and i have come up with the idea that i won't know what i'm doing until i'm done. last semester i learned what it was like to do what i thought was impossible...i'm sure this semester will follow similar guidelines.

tonight i got to see a wonderful documentary about children's literature from the adult perspective. it was called library of the early mind, i recommend it to anyone that ever enjoyed a book as a child or likes documentaries. we were also really lucky at bridgewater to meet the producers of the film. here is the trailer for those who are interested.

so student teaching has led me to discussing funny things from my childhood. my aunt told me that once when i was learning about compound words i said "toilet, that's a compound word!" which led my mom to say...in modern day... "metronome, metro gnome."

so richie bought me a couple books on diy projects for my birthday...found at the value bookstore.

the first is the homemade home with cute ideas for personalizing items and the second is tutorial on stenciling walls, furniture, etc...and it includes 10 stencils...the patterns are on the far right.

this is for my friend marie, who was looking to decorate some mason jars. the idea is that you cut out fabric and use double sided tape to stick it to the jars. really simple but also really cute. i bet you could use hot glue too. it suggested taking a hole punch and creating your own designs on plain fabric...like the heart on the pink fabric.

hi there everyone...or anyone.
what i've been up to lately is doing a lot of school work and doing some sewing.
i'm signed up for a craft fair in november with my aunt...i really need to start cranking out some sewing projects. here's what i got so far:

2 bags, 7 make up bags, 4 wristlets, 3 eyeglass cases, and 1 toolbelt!

the tool belt is something i just made this afternoon..i wanted to try it cuz i thought the "green" fabric i had would look cool in it...

found an old shelf thing on the side of the road the other day..after watching another one get smushed to pieces a few days before.

i stripped the paint off...but after how long it took wished i didn't bother cuz its still not all off...gonna probably repaint it white and add new hardware.

what's the news lately? things.
friday: it was nice and chilly out. richie and i went for a nature walk near his house. i did several last hours of studying for my mtel, which was saturday morning...and in the meantime i won two tickets to a muse and silversun pickups show so i was really excited about that!

saturday turned out to be a beautiful day so after my morning exam i had time to enjoy the sunshine. i took jesse as my sidekick to muse and we tagged along with richie and his friend mike who had previously bought tickets....suckahs.

the great streak of weather continued...sunday morning i asked hanna to go for a walk on plymouth beach with me and the dogs.

after the beach hanna and i went to lunch at water street and walked downtown. we gave rosie a bath...she smells like a little baby dog. at night i went to richie's for jesse's birthday dinner and we watched the academy awards...

yesterday richie and i hung outside mostly. got charlie off the bus and drove him to a friend's house. richie told me about a mansion so we went to find it and found a lovely water area as well!

it's about that time of year again...to get back into the swing of blogging...life ain't the same without it.

let's see. as far as the creativity front goes...i made a second bedroom...in my basement...

also a few weeks ago mandi and i took on a late night project to renovate some dressers we found at savers.

for the most part my life consists of math and physics. it's smart.

emily and eric challenged each other to a race yesterday...so i joined...eric won. emily however beat him in push ups. they are the best couple to live. ...facebook dating for a week now...

last night richie and i joined jj, marianne, pat, donnie, scotty, jackie, and kendra at t.g.i. friday's trivia... i had nothing to contribute...and we lost...next time! i say...

i dont have much of anything left to say about life at the moment...we'll see.

blogging hasn't been happening in my life lately.

i don't really have any pictures to put up either.

it's been a bizarre summer...real short. i started off taking summer courses so i think that mixed me up. i'm not complaining though...i like getting back in the swing of school.

on our last night, me and sydney, went into the city to hang out with andy and see a show. it was real fun. we shared laughs with jono about train fares and harvard profs. andy was real tall as usual. and he and i shared a taxi home driven by ray. and he never knew.

school started wednesday...so far so good. i saved a dragonfly today. i also picked up a new retainer since my dog had eaten my last one...my teeth killed...

tomorrow i'm going to see a cover band with mr. andy in halifax. and it better be good otherwise i'll throw a fit.

i need sydney.

sunny holiday weekend! not bad!

on friday i met up with matt to go down to whitehorse beach. we met his friends on the beach...the fires were being engulfed by the approaching water...it was pretty beautiful. after that we went to sydney's to make some doughnuts..that were subpar.

on saturday i went to the cape with my mom and we went to the beach with aunts and cousins. it was fun. me and my cousin steve swam out to the raft. matt picked me up on his way to plymouth from work. i went downtown with jeff to sit on the hill. me and mikey bunker went for a fabulous bike ride. i got to see tons of smiling faces and watch the fireworks. natalie and chrissy gave me a ride home.

yesterday! i had to work til a little after 2. where i got a text from mike lovely, himself, to come to manomet. so i did and we had 2 awesome games of volleyball where my team dominated and i hit myself in the face. sweaty, me mike jeff and tyler went for a dip in the ocean! so cold. we decided to go the the reservoir after but the multitude of scumbags made us change our minds so we went to jeff's aunt's pond instead. the 4 of us decided to venture across the pond...it took a good 25 minutes i'm guessing. it was intense..midway threw i coughed and then laughed and then almost drowned and i think mike was laughing at me and almost drowned too. once reaching the other side we decided to rest but mike made a quick recovery and took off without us. so me jeff and tyler decided to try to beat him back by running around the perimeter of the pond. turns out we did beat him with minutes to spare so we hid in his back seat covered in clothes and scared the daylights out of him! :) after that me jeff and tyler went to jeffs for food and sat and talked on the porch like girls do.

memorial day '09.

began with a journey to mandi's house in pembroke. we decided it would be best to ride our tandem bike in the local parade which goes down her street.

decked out to our fullest in red white & blue we hit the streets of p-broke.

on our way to the center we met up with natalie and chrissy who also had bikes and they joined the parade with us.

luckily i'm not the driver so i was able to photograph and ride safely.

we obv made a necessary stop at candy jar so mandi could get a slushie.

and we made a brief appearance at p-hop for some good ole slices of pie. after which we headed to natalie's to be lazy and then play some ping pong on her badass new table!

mandi and i then took off to cruise around pembroke picking up lawn chairs...but eventually got nat and chrissy and went for a ride to marshfield to walk on the beach!

after all this adventuring i headed home only to go back over to mandi's for an evening fire.

i started summer courses the day after memorial day. i have two classes and i go five days a week. it's wild but fun. on my first day of classes, after school, i met up with sean burns and he painted me green and made me act bizarre for a bone deth thing. i don't remember the specifics of much else from the past weeks but i do have proof that i did something:

spent one night mall ratting with sydney, steph, jeremy, and nick rage!

drove to a cemetery on a hill, where we laughed and danced through a field of graves.

i know i went to jeff's graduation and played loads of volleyball!

my team was a hot mess at time, so i weirdly jumped.

and went with mandi to christmas tree shop and tj max to get stuff for her new apartment in amherst. and on friday me and sydney made donuts while hay-flo and chris walsh made cupcakes for sweet inspirations.

we're kinda gross..mainly me....but whatever.

on saturday after work i stopped by emily's cookout where i played more volleyball. and then went to pembroke to join mandi on a trip up to amherst. on the way i decided to text c.botsch a mysterious message about the sun because i knew he didn't have my number. he found out it was me...but it was fun anyways.

so mandi and i got up to amherst and slept at her new place. on sunday we got up and headed for north hampton! i had never been there and it was so much fun!! we went shopping and ate out at the cutest little burger place!!

so i'm at my school right now. just got done with class. i'm here to update about the events which happened last...friday and saturday night. mainly through pictures that i'm currently scanning.

so i went to jon's last friday night where jon, dan, and i exchanged good words with his mom and dad. it was funny.

obviously having fun.

i curled my hair before i left for jon's....i wasn't looking to impress no one...clearly.

adventure in our hearts we went to sydney's. and then of course to get slush puppies. whilst all piling in my car a foreign vehicle was backing out of the street adjacent to syd's house and said "sorry, i'm gonna hit your car." and backed up into my car and then drove away. all in shock and confused we were like "what the arf?" but my car was fine. so we went to tedeschi's and cheered up with slushies. the rest of the night was spent conversing with hayley, chris walsh, luke, and cait, while hayley and chris worked on their first baking assignment for sweet inspirations bakery!!

it brought a lot of joy to the hearts of everyone involved. even me and syd put our differences asside and had fun.

after work on saturday i met up with jon, dan, and sydney at kiskadee's cafe. i pretended to drink jon's coffee.

we went back to sydney's to get her friend taylor. we hung around for awhile unsure of what to do but we got going and went to jon's to laugh with his mom a little then headed for the shitty.

sydney was feeling up for dumpster diving but realized she wasn't good at it.

everyone showed some love for tin, kdemps, and kbotsch's apartment.

we ended up hitting up a really smokey party. i smeared cat food on cj's inner thigh. eventually leading to salty tears. me and chrislee jumped out a window followed by drunken raul...he makes me laugh! turned out to be a successful shitty trip. that's all for now the library is closing.

Two Headed Blog Part 2

here goes for my life continued.

on thursday after work hanna and i decided we wanted to do hang out outside. first we headed to my house to let the dogs out.

on our way toward downtown we picked up hayley and sydney. we walked all around downtown before resting in an abandoned parking lot.

not much longer after our favorite hunk showed up did ray and cbotsch join the group!

we ended up going up to the village landing so some fools could get root beer floats and hanna could get a sundae!

chris bought a car.

everyone was real happy to just relax and watch people.

after it got dark and cold most of us minus hay and hanna went to the charlie horse with my mom. it was fun. the waiter hated us, my mom loved ray.

me and syd headed to her house after to watch sex drive. after work friday i blogged! the story will end there again. more next time.

Two Headed Blog Part 1

so it's been really too long since i've last blogged. but what can i say?

i guess i'll say my last finals ended last tuesday and my boss gave me wednesday off...to be cool. so i woke up and it was looking nice out so i took my dogs for a walk on plymouth beach...they loved it.

swonce i got home i thought, hey it would be a good time to visit salvage chic! on the way jon called me so i gathered him. we hit up salvage chic and chatted with claudia for a minute and saw garrett painting outside then i wanted cotton candy so we went downtown! mike lovely met up with us, followed soon after by steph hallet. me, jon, and steph sat and talked for a little bit and absorbed the nice weather.

i birthed a bike seat.

so i don't really think i did too much last thursday or friday cuz i don't remember them. i know i worked. maybe got real tired. on saturday, however, i know i did do something! after work hanna and i wanted to go to the south shore plaza so we did. when we were basically there we saw a carnival next to the mall so we decided it was what we had to do. we paid $1 for admission and then bought tickets to go on one ride. we met this incredible boy on the ride and he made my night. i bought a bag of cotton candy and gave some to a stranger cuz i thought she asked for some...but i think she was asking the price of it...woops. basically it was awesome and we only went to the mall for a little bit before going back home. i got sydney after and we went to the independence mall to see 17 again, again. i loved it she hated it. so did jj. nbd.

this happened on sunday....went to michael's with amanda.

i had monday off so i slept at sydney's and we hung out for a little while...until she had wild babysitting stuff. jon text me so i met up with him, dan, and jacqui at kiskadee cafe. we all went to silver lake to watch dan's little sister's softball game. we wondered if we stood out as creepy old kids or fit in...i think we were creepy.

i just felt like i a piggyback needed to happen.

afterwords jacqui went to mack bruce and me jon and dan went to dan's. we watched talladega nights with his dad and sister and his mom cooked us the best dinner; mac& cheese, potatoes, chicken, and brocolli. best. then we built a fire in dan's backyard and me jon dan emily dentino and dan's parents had a joyous time before i went to sleep.

tuesday morning i woke up early to bring my car to the shop before work. after work i babysat and then went and got my car with my mom and my dog.

then i went to syd's and we went to sean walsh's birthday gathering down the street from her house. she sang her famous song, "Engagment" to chris.

then we went to dan's again to have another raging fire! this time raul, ray, jon, dan, syd, me and josh cohen were there! wild. we went to 24 hour walmart in some sort of car race including butts.

i started writing this post last night but came overwhelmed with the fear of dos finals today. turns out my analysis final was basically word for word the review sheet he handed out the class before and my psych final went along the same lines. the teacher had left out an answer key if we wanted to check after and i got 47/48. not bad. so heather and i hopped on facebook afterwards and had one of the best times i've ever had. she said she was gonna return some books so i figured why not? and ended up making out with $123. it was nice. i got a text from eric saying our physics grades were in...so i would now know if i had to take physics again...turns out i got a C+ which is really better than i expected. i got an A in geometry which is also grood. i came home to a giant pile of mulch in my driveway...so i did some good ole yardwork..and now i'm here, achey back and all.

yesterday after my abstract final i hung out with eric and bought a bed thing at salv arm for $.83...there isn't a cent symbol on the keyboard. i think i came home to do more yardwork and then ended up hanging out with jj and ari. we went to visit the ryan goslings down by the river.

today on the way to school i saw a bunch of old window frames and shutters on the side of the road with a free sign in front of them. for some reason i wanted nothing more than the window frames. old, paint peeling, white, square window frames. so on the way home i wanted to get a closer look and maybe snag them. as i'm rounding the turn in kingston all i could think of was i hope these frames are still there! and wa la! they are! along with a lot more stuff minus the shutters but plus a bike. so i pulled over and parked in their driveway and immediately started shoving the bike into my car. then i looked at the frames and didn't want them anymore. so i walked away with a new bike...for free. and some internal happiness.

time for a weekly update.

i'm not sure what i even did this week...
monday i observed in a music class at nathaniel morton. i got to listen to the angelic tunes of 3rd graders playing hot cross buns on the recorder for an hour and then i watched a movie with 30 6 year olds.

it was a really nice movie, kind of sad, but nice.

tuesday i ended up teaching a 3rd grade math class. it was awesome. i was nervous but it ended up going well. my friend katie, who is the teacher, told me that they really liked me and wanted me to come back sometime. i'm really happy about this fact.

wednesday. i worked with emily and eric on some geometry problems and then went to salvage chic to have some good laughs with my favorite antiquers. while i was there i bought a side table.

i think i'm getting days mixed up...anyways. i took a nap for a long time. and then hung out with jonathan. we watched arrested development and loved it.

on thursday....i took ro and b for a walk/run and gave b a bath. then i shopped til i dropped..one. ha. then i helped my mom and richard clean up the yard. i ended up making brownies and watching the office.

friday was a wild day. i woke up went to school went to work went to babysit went to natalie's went to mandi's play.

me natalie and chrissy were loving the costumes. also i was in the bathroom and forgot to lock the door on my stall and just before chrissy went to open it i went oops...i forgot to look my door...and they called me a creep and i died laughing.

us girls then hit up the good old wendy's parking lot to just be cool. i called jeff complaining about abstract life on the way home and then jeff made a joke and which made me feel better and we talked about good life until i eventually fell asleep.

i woke up on saturday to this...

after work syd and i went up into the city to go to nicki's apartment bash! best car ride ever. we kept going the wrong way and just circling around the area. once we found a spot that i could fit in (that's what she said) i began to parallel park...as syd says "it coulda been from a movie". i don't know what was going on. we hung out with nicki for a while but since it took forever to get there it was getting late and i was tired. so we said our good byes.
syd had been talking to kevin, who now lives in the city, and so we stopped by to see him for a little while before going home. however trying to park the car was impossible so we just ended up grabbing kevin, jon, and raul and sang taylor swift real loud.

i worked with paul for a couple hours today. ari jj and jj's little sister came to visit! which was awesome! and after work i picked up jeff and we went to jeff hill's going away party. some party highlights... kevin: "we'll go in the back ally entrance of the mall." abe: "you mean the scary entrance." and 2 pairs of people wearing the same shoes, tin: "it's like wearing the same dress to prom."
we were supposed to all go to the mall so jeff went home and i went to meet people...turns out jon joe's car wouldn't stop so we all went back to jeff hill's. which lead to sitting around, lounging and scrounging, and loving life...for some.

weekend update with maddie patch.

where do i start? i think it all starts with a snail.

saw this guy on the way to school on wednesday.

saw this guy as i was leaving school on thursday.

i can't really remember too much into detail on what happened in between these two miraculous sitings. so my days must not have been too exciting...i did fail an analysis exam. i know that. but anyways after leaving school on thursday i went down to umass dartmouth to see jeff's photo show. it was real fun and i hung out with sydney, maulra, and hay-flo. there was a free photo booth.

and we love it.

i drove hayley home that night and went home myself. on friday after classes i hung out with eric and we got lunch and then went to the salvation army...i wasn't finding much...until i saw this box full of hats that were 4 for a dollar so my obsessive impulse kicked in and i bought 12 matching green elmer fudd hats. eric and i died laughing.

i went home and then came back to school for the festival of the arts with hayley and my mom.

i ended up winning $200 for some of my pictures and they were published in this year's bridge journal volume 6.

we went back to the sullivan's to find sydney depressed about school, so to cheer her up we went downtown to get candy.

got real awkward for a second.

got some shut eye early in the eve so i could be well rested for work. after which i got all dolled up for joey walsh's homecoming extravaganza!

oh you know, girls just being girls.

me and hay tried to get syd to text joey too far but she text the man of the hour, joey walsh, instead. best.

turned out to be a really fun night. i even got to have peaceful meadows and watch twilight....sorta... i awoke to breakfast by mandy! and headed home to take a shower.

i ended up going to help jeff rake some leaves and we ended up just hanging around not doing too much. we visited mike lovely and then picked up nutty. it was so gosh darn hot that we decided to go to jeff's aunt and uncles to go swimming...or just jumping in and getting out real fast.

we went downtown after and got candy and visited emily. then i had a demburger over jeff's and it was delicious....since then i've been basically preparing my blog! i hope you like it.

trying to keep the good ole blog up to speed.

friday i got jeff and he helped me find a camera. we went to the mall looking for one but decided online was our best bet. i brought him to ari's to get his hair cut and we bird watched.

on the way back to jeff's we spotted fellow blogger jeff hill! and talked for a little bit. then me and jeff, mainly jeff, looked for a camera for me online...i sat around while the stiles's ate dinner and then i went down to visit lovely mike at guru.

on saturday i worked. then i visited the sullivan household where we sat around making loads of jokes and katherine berna showed up with her friend tyler and we had even more good laughs. i.e. "idk, i'm just a stooge". then me syd and hay went to see adventureland. and i loved it. then we got home at like midnight or something and watched twatlight spotlight til we fell asleep.

in the morning deno made me and skid pancakes which were very very good. i ended up picking up derrick and melissa to do some antiquing. syd and hay came along too and we went down to buzzard's bay to hang out with some real cool people. i.e. smitty.

on monday i worked a great majority of the day and then study for a little while for analysis. i again met up with derrick cuz ari was to give his hair a cut. to waste time waiting for ari i bought a couch.

i have to admit we loved the bargain. so we headed to ari's, where she cut derrick's hair and then me, hanna, jerel, derrick, ari, and jj played scategories and pictionary. long night, hair times.

in the morning i woke up to get destroyed by an analysis test, which if i wasn't already feeling shitty made me feel basically empty inside. i modeled through it and the rest of my classes before heading home and meeting up with dennis and his puppy pal, boston, to go pick up my new couch and get some mozzerella sticks. somehow we managed to get my couch home during a period of no rain and got it safely stowed away in my basement. eric came to pick me up soon after dennis dropped me off. and we met up with emily to get more shitty over some abstract algebra and physics. to cheer us up i forced eric to go to tj max and then we met up with lovely mike to go to "welcome to moe's". i'm now very thankful to be home. i will be going to sleep soon. but i'm glad to have shared these events with you. goodnight to all.

so just to give everyone a look at my new curtains...here ya go!
they were very simple to make and i just used some excess fabric i had lying around. if anyone's interested i'd love to make curtains for their room. we could pick out fabric together and also i don't just do the valence style. i just wanted to try something new for my windows.

today i was hanging around school for a little while between classes so i called chris tardiff cuz i haven't seen him in ages and he rode his bike to meet me on campus! i loved seeing him and it made me realize how much i miss him! he walked me to class...because i told him he had to! it was great!momma had a baby and it's head popped off.

i gave mandi a phone call after my lab and we met up and went to salvage chic. where i found a wonderful old photograph of a girl. claudia had just glued the back on...i was informed! :) i didn't think the frame went with my room so i had to paint it. and i'm pleased with the final product.

that's basically it. i just want to say i'm lovin' arrested development.

one thing i want to dedicate this blog today to is built to spill. i'm just listening to them right now and i'm just so happy about how great they sound. so i just want all you out there in blogland to start listening to them so we can sing along together some day.

today has been a real nice day. school, observing, and babysitting. when i got home i went on the tree swing and hoped it wouldn't break. then feeling more adventurous i climbed a tree and laid like a monkey on a branch. i think that will be my sitting spot from now on.

lately i feel like i've been thinking a lot but can come to no conclusions. i'm confused in my head. i don't understand how i feel. i'm scared to look too far. although i have been thinking a lot i know i'm just glazing the surface; there are possibly a million wild things going on underneath. it's a bizarre feeling; denial, i guess. it really just feels like there's a whole part of my head that is just really heavy and i don't know what's going on there. nor do i want to know or think i'm ready. i don't care if these words don't make sense i just wanted to try and express what i've been feeling.

i've been wondering a lot about conversations. and how far you can really take a conversation....like i think i've just always assumed that there would be great conversations had in my lifetime, and that maybe i've already had some. but then i realize that i don't even know what defines a great conversation. i'm starting to see more and more that there are things i've believed because society has implied them. like the meaning of life. why does that even have to be a question? maybe there isn't an answer. or love, even. amo is just a word the romans used to describe the same thing and i don't think they knew what it was either. we all feel like we must find love. but we can define it ourselves, we do that with everything else. i've got some thoughts flying around my working brain that are just confusing...and probably contradicting but i don't care. umm if you have any idea or could just give me some feedback i'd really appreciate it!

so today like many other monday started out with me going to physics and paying no attention at all. abstract algebra was fun and i would explain the fun but i don't think anyone else would like it quite that much. i asked eric for a ride to my car, so him and emily did just that. he forced me to sit in the back and wear a helmet.

i got home to my 50 degree house hoping that the heat would be back on so i could shower but it wasn't and i had to take a trip to my sister's.

i went down to nathaniel morton to do some observations of a gym class and it was awesome! the gym lady wasn't totally cool but the kids had a blast and it brought me back to the good ole days of elementary school p.e. with mrs. bevens.

after that i went to see hay-flo to watch twilight and look up pictures of bella and edward...for a couple hours.

after i went home ari invited me over for game night. me and hanna vs. ari and jj vs. mike jerel and danielle. jj and ari won with their telepathy during a wicked fun game of pictionary. me and hanna still felt like winners though!! i was trying to get her to guess "stick shift" and she said "twigglers". i died. anyways i'm home. with mint green nails.

a little bit of updating! my fingernails are doing pretty good...i haven't been biting them...one is a little misshapen though do to...i don't even know. i was driving to school earlier this week trying to keep my mind off of going to school and i started thinking about how cool it would be to have a garden. so it's my plan to hopefully get a garden up and running. i'm thinking to start out with the regular stuff: tomatoes, carrots?, lettuce, potatoes?, squash, pumpkins, chives & such, etc. i don't really know what i would be able to accomplish but if i could even get one of the above to grow that'd be nice.

up for a little bit of risk in my life i decided to ask ari to dye my hair. after 3 shots we got it to a mixture of red and blonde. carrot top as sydney would say.

ari was also up for taking a risk so the next night we went to the pin cushion and she got a monroe piercing.

jj was obv not impressed. so we dropped him off and had a romantic candle lit dinner at guru. indian food half off monday thru wednesday! so we spent like $13 but we left a generous tip.

by this time i guess i'm coming up on thursday. and i'm not sure if i have all this remembered correctly but i think i started adding some jazz to my room...this could have been wednesday though...so difficult to get it all straight! anywho. i decided that since its probably been almost a year since i started painting my wall and i haven't worked on it in about a year that i'd start putting stuff back in their places. but i do hope to finish my wall someday...it's not even hard...so i don't know why i can't bring myself to do it. the point of this all is i got my things hung back up and i even matted a picture of me and sydney.

please take notice of the curtains in my room. i got them at salvation army not realizing that two of the four were really short. so the other window has fitting curtains and that one does not. it's about time for my lighter curtains anyways so i'm not too worried about it. the middle picture is just a small portion of framed photos that won't fit on my walls...i got really obsessed with these frames at target a few months ago cuz they were so cheap and bought a ridiculous amount. also since i have very little wallspace left i decided to display some of my birthday cards and photos on a wall canvas thing. i hung some necklaces up too cuz i don't have any place for them either.

on friday after work i went to the sullivan clan's. we took a grand trip to whole foods. which reminded me a lot of my breastfeeding days. and hay and syd just laughed at me, saying i would turn my future kid retarded.

after getting home we went to the mall and stopped at h&m where i got some gloves and flats.

on saturday i worked 8-4 and then rushed my aunt to salvage chic with me! we made it in time before close and had some good laughs when we couldn't find one of the two owl salt & pepper shakers. he turned out to be trying to make a getaway in a orange toy car. my aunt thinks every week there should be a blog about the owl. like this week he was found hanging out with the noodle poodles. or in the hankies. i thought it was funny. my aunt ended up buying me a ceramic owl figure for my room. and its awesome!

after i got home i was hanging out for a while, alone. when i heard something starting to rumble...and then some bad sort of smell started to make its way out of my basement...so i went outside with the dogs and called my mom. turns out our heater broke and so no hot water or warmth. currently experiencing cold fingers!! but i'm blogging through it.

i ended up going to pick up matt z cuz he was so ronery! we went to papa gino's and then wally world where we ran into c botsch, jeff hill, and zacher!

chris had to pick up a birthday gift for his dad.

me and matt then called up jharrington and went to his house and hung out for a while before i got so exhausted and had to bring matt home!

this morning i woke up and made my aunt do a photo shoot of me. :)

so its been a little bit since my last update! but i've basically been having a jolly time? i don't know.
saturday night i watched some real housewives over the walsh household with syd and hayley. and got served dinner by janet, it was awesome. then i went rock n' roll bowling and to sam deigo's.

on sunday i spent some time with my family and we stopped at salvage chic on the way home. i got sydney this sweet owl light. it had colorful beads that lit up on its belly...i'll upload a picture soon!

so the other day at dinner with emily and mike we made tunes with our glasses of water. and i think that should be one of my new hobbies. it was so much fun!

yesterday due to a week-long meltdown i didn't do much, despite being my longer day at school...i played pikmin for a while then hit up the mizzle with my favorite bloggers, (minus hayley) jeff "veggie kid" hill, chris "long legs" botsch, and oliver "delicate smoker" berry. in a spur of the moment decision me, chris, and jeff went to see i love you, man. and i have to say...hirarious! and we made it out in time to do a lap of the mall before saying our peaceful goodbyes.

had an abstract algebra test this morning...and i don't have a clue how i did. i worked after school and found out that my car has a leak in the gas tank...however things are still ok. worked til 4 but didn't get home til 6. i'm pretty exhausted and sick. as in gnarly....but really as in cough cough.

today was an extraordinary tuesday. i spent some time at school. then did a bit of sewing until i babysat at 3:00. after which i went to the mall to meet up with kevin, jeff, and oliver. we discussed a wide variety of topics. then jeff and i examined hot topic and i went to guru in plymouth to eat some dinner with emily stephens and mike pursell.

been a wild weekend, i'd say.

babysat last night then hit up ari's new pad. its pretty narrow and awesome.

alright, a new day a new dollar, as they say.

today i was wondering whether or not anyone knows if pikmin came out for the wii yet? cuz i saw a poster saying it was supposed to come out the 12th or 13th of this month but i don't know if that was postponed. i haven't really looked anywhere besides wal-mart but i don't really feel like going to the mall.

also at work this woman was talking about how she needed to update her wallet for the spring. so i mentioned how i was making wristlets to sell at work and i had perfect spring colors...she wasn't impressed enough to buy one however she left and then came back with a bag full of zippers that will come in handy for my new hobby! i really appreciated her generousity. because in between her two visits a pissy woman came in. this is how the convo went:
her: can i have a virginia ham sandwich?
us: umm we don't have virginia ham...
her: it says you have boar's head meats!
us: oh...umm we just have black forest ham.
her: ok that's good.
which later proceeded to hanna taking out the ham to make a sandwich
her: wait are you meats pre-sliced?
us: yeah
her: forget it! ::bolts it to the car::
her's husband: we're new yorkers!
me: we go threw so much that we have to pre-slice

my efforts were too little too late, my boss literally had sliced the meat an hour before. but no one stayed to listen to me. i honestly know our sandwiches are good! i swear! alas they were new yorkers and how can my little massachusetts brain understand their needs...

so tonight i hope to go to ari's and then to jon's but first i must go sit on some babies!
