been keeping busy. trying to keep thoughts on the surface. sometimes too worn out to think about anything. and when i do think it doesn't really make sense.

the best things in life are truly free

today on the way to school i saw a bunch of old window frames and shutters on the side of the road with a free sign in front of them. for some reason i wanted nothing more than the window frames. old, paint peeling, white, square window frames. so on the way home i wanted to get a closer look and maybe snag them. as i'm rounding the turn in kingston all i could think of was i hope these frames are still there! and wa la! they are! along with a lot more stuff minus the shutters but plus a bike. so i pulled over and parked in their driveway and immediately started shoving the bike into my car. then i looked at the frames and didn't want them anymore. so i walked away with a new bike...for free. and some internal happiness.

time for a weekly update.

i'm not sure what i even did this week...
monday i observed in a music class at nathaniel morton. i got to listen to the angelic tunes of 3rd graders playing hot cross buns on the recorder for an hour and then i watched a movie with 30 6 year olds.


it was a really nice movie, kind of sad, but nice.

tuesday i ended up teaching a 3rd grade math class. it was awesome. i was nervous but it ended up going well. my friend katie, who is the teacher, told me that they really liked me and wanted me to come back sometime. i'm really happy about this fact.

wednesday. i worked with emily and eric on some geometry problems and then went to salvage chic to have some good laughs with my favorite antiquers. while i was there i bought a side table.

i think i'm getting days mixed up...anyways. i took a nap for a long time. and then hung out with jonathan. we watched arrested development and loved it.

on thursday....i took ro and b for a walk/run and gave b a bath. then i shopped til i dropped..one. ha. then i helped my mom and richard clean up the yard. i ended up making brownies and watching the office.

friday was a wild day. i woke up went to school went to work went to babysit went to natalie's went to mandi's play.

me natalie and chrissy were loving the costumes. also i was in the bathroom and forgot to lock the door on my stall and just before chrissy went to open it i went oops...i forgot to look my door...and they called me a creep and i died laughing.

us girls then hit up the good old wendy's parking lot to just be cool. i called jeff complaining about abstract life on the way home and then jeff made a joke and which made me feel better and we talked about good life until i eventually fell asleep.

i woke up on saturday to this...

after work syd and i went up into the city to go to nicki's apartment bash! best car ride ever. we kept going the wrong way and just circling around the area. once we found a spot that i could fit in (that's what she said) i began to parallel park...as syd says "it coulda been from a movie". i don't know what was going on. we hung out with nicki for a while but since it took forever to get there it was getting late and i was tired. so we said our good byes.
syd had been talking to kevin, who now lives in the city, and so we stopped by to see him for a little while before going home. however trying to park the car was impossible so we just ended up grabbing kevin, jon, and raul and sang taylor swift real loud.

syd drove us home and me her and sullie had a wonderous sleepover in luke's corduroy palace.

i worked with paul for a couple hours today. ari jj and jj's little sister came to visit! which was awesome! and after work i picked up jeff and we went to jeff hill's going away party. some party highlights... kevin: "we'll go in the back ally entrance of the mall." abe: "you mean the scary entrance." and 2 pairs of people wearing the same shoes, tin: "it's like wearing the same dress to prom."
we were supposed to all go to the mall so jeff went home and i went to meet people...turns out jon joe's car wouldn't stop so we all went back to jeff hill's. which lead to sitting around, lounging and scrounging, and loving life...for some.

weekend update with maddie patch.

where do i start? i think it all starts with a snail.

saw this guy on the way to school on wednesday.

saw this guy as i was leaving school on thursday.

i can't really remember too much into detail on what happened in between these two miraculous sitings. so my days must not have been too exciting...i did fail an analysis exam. i know that. but anyways after leaving school on thursday i went down to umass dartmouth to see jeff's photo show. it was real fun and i hung out with sydney, maulra, and hay-flo. there was a free photo booth.

and we love it.

i drove hayley home that night and went home myself. on friday after classes i hung out with eric and we got lunch and then went to the salvation army...i wasn't finding much...until i saw this box full of hats that were 4 for a dollar so my obsessive impulse kicked in and i bought 12 matching green elmer fudd hats. eric and i died laughing.

i went home and then came back to school for the festival of the arts with hayley and my mom.

i ended up winning $200 for some of my pictures and they were published in this year's bridge journal volume 6.

we went back to the sullivan's to find sydney depressed about school, so to cheer her up we went downtown to get candy.

got real awkward for a second.

got some shut eye early in the eve so i could be well rested for work. after which i got all dolled up for joey walsh's homecoming extravaganza!

oh you know, girls just being girls.

me and hay tried to get syd to text joey too far but she text the man of the hour, joey walsh, instead. best.

turned out to be a really fun night. i even got to have peaceful meadows and watch twilight....sorta... i awoke to breakfast by mandy! and headed home to take a shower.

i ended up going to help jeff rake some leaves and we ended up just hanging around not doing too much. we visited mike lovely and then picked up nutty. it was so gosh darn hot that we decided to go to jeff's aunt and uncles to go swimming...or just jumping in and getting out real fast.

it was freezin.

we went downtown after and got candy and visited emily. then i had a demburger over jeff's and it was delicious....since then i've been basically preparing my blog! i hope you like it.
